My dear watching friends,
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! As a follow-up of my letter to you all earlier this month (For My Watching Brothers and Sisters), I feel like I want to talk about what watching has looked like for me in this post-September 23 era. It’s actually only been 6 months, but it feels like an era to me and I imagine many of you can relate 😉
First of all, my hope is in Christ.
My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ my righteousness. He is the rock on which I stand. I know that however and whenever this plays out, I am secure in my faith that God is good. All the time. I *choose* to trust Him. I *choose* to place my faith in Him. No matter what. Without a solid foundation of faith, we can be “blown about by winds of doctrine” and be carried away on waves of emotion. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Always.
In Christ Alone – Lauren Daigle:
My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
Secondly, I am watching.
Jesus wants us to watch and to eagerly anticipate His call. I continue to wait for Him in anticipation, while watching for the signs of His coming.
Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth? Luke 18:18 ESV
Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them. Luke 12:37 ESV
What I am specifically watching for includes the “beginning of birth pains” as defined by Jesus in the Olivet Discourse:
- Wars
- Wars and Rumors of Wars – Possible lineup of WW3.
- Wars and Rumors of Wars centered around Israel and the Middle East, including a specific interest in Damascus, Syria.
- A lineup of players matching the nations found in Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39.
- Earthquakes and Volcanic Activity
- Famines
- Pestilences / Plagues
- Terrors and Great Signs from heaven (I believe Sept 23/17 fulfilled the “great sign”)
When the Time of Jacob’s Trouble (“Tribulation”) arrives, it will be marked all at once by the arrival of widespread war, global earthquakes, famines and pestilences, terrors and great signs from heaven. Collectively, “all these” are the “beginning” of the birth pains, and seem to be a result of Seals 1-6 opening. Thus, I don’t believe we are seeing birth pains yet. What we are seeing are still the “Braxton Hicks’ contractions”. However, I do believe we may see the *very beginning* of the birth pains as they begin. So I am scouring for signs of a rapid upsurgence in all of these things at once.
Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near. Luke 21:28 ESV
I have detailed on my blog that I believe the pretribulation rapture of the church is described in Seals 5&6. I believe all the seals will open all at the same time, and we will be snatched “away from great anguish” as the effects of the seals unfurl in our wake. You may even describe this great anguish as similar to the pains found during childbirth… 😉
Thirdly, I am studying.
For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 ESV
The Lord gives us clues all throughout scripture about what is to come. I continue to try to connect these and meditate on them in prayer, as well as discussing them with other watchmen. I read and watch what other watchmen are posting. I feel like significant clues are held in the sequence of harvests and the Feast days. My personal high watch feasts are Pentecost and Feast of Trumpets (and lesser so, Yom Kippur). I am so excited to write a new post about Pentecost, but I need a day where I can sit for a number of hours to do so with no distractions!
I am not following number studies, day counts, or other heavenly signs. I respect my fellow watchmen who are doing so, but I personally feel like it won’t be that complicated. I think the clues are there, we just have to look for them and then patiently wait and watch for them to unfold.
I believe that on the day and in the hour, we will KNOW to look up.
Fourthly, I am gathering together with the saints.
That’s you guys 🙂 I don’t have anyone to watch with locally, so fellowship with my online brothers and sisters is precious to my heart.
Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25 BSB
Last, but not least, I am spreading the gospel.
I will tell you that finding the Revelation 12 sign of September 23 spurred me on to spread the gospel like I never have before in all my life. Far from “losing faith” when we found ourselves still here, I consider each extra day a gift to plant seeds and water sprouts. There is a harvest out there waiting to come in – pray to the Lord of the harvest, “Here am I, send me!!!”
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19 ESV
So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. 1 Corinthians 3:7 ESV
Take Heart, and Be of Good Courage
This momentary period of watching may feel like an eternity, but eternity will feel like only a moment 🙂
Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:1,6-10,16-18 ESV

The Bible is infallible. I am not. I am merely challenging traditional models and testing them against Scripture. I believe that traditional pretribulation teachings provide a solid backbone upon which to lay the musculature of details, some of which I think might need to be adjusted slightly. I encourage you to consider my thoughts as you also examine the scriptures to see if these things are so!
Watch’n with ya Sis..to the end. I do love those Day Counts though, they’re not as hard to understand as the volume of other obsessions, lol! LoveYa!..

Just found your website as I Google-searched “How to prepare your house for those left behind”.
This was written a couple years ago? You must be super, extra excited now that you’ve seen what has unfolded in our world since then!
I am very sad that out of everyone I know, I am only among a few watchers. The rest think I’m crazy.
Anyway, here we are in these crazy times! I’m thinking we only have months left now. I homeschooled my large family for 22 years and taught my children end-times Bible prophecy. At present, all four of my adult children have departed from their faith and have gone deeply into ungodly living. Two have completely broken fellowship with me and the other two are iffy at best. I am going to write out left behind letters and leave on the doors. Somehow I need to let the one daughter who lives close know where she can find a key to get in. As they say “so much to do, and so little time…”
Well, so thankful I found you! I also watch Jan Markell, Jack Hibbs, Amir Tsarfati, Chad Thomas and JD Farag daily! I cannot wait to meet you and them when we are caught up together in the clouds!
Maranatha,
